Introducing Streaks

Updated: Feb 11

Build Momentum, Stay Consistent

Consistency is at the heart of great standup habits. Whether you're sharing daily wins, blockers, or small progress updates, showing up regularly creates momentum — and momentum builds teams.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce Streaks, a brand-new feature in Standup Alice designed to help you stay engaged, track progress accurately, and celebrate consistency across your standups.

🔥 What Are Streaks?

A streak is a count of how many consecutive standups you've submitted on time, based on the schedule of each standup conversation. It’s a lightweight way to stay motivated and build a consistent rhythm — without adding any extra work.

Streaks are automatically tracked for you, and we’ve built them to be smart, accurate, and meaningful.

The streaks feature will show

  • your current streak

  • best streak

  • Total conversations

How Streaks Feature Works

  • Your current streak: calculated for each Standup separately

  • Best streak: The highest streak value across any streak you have been part of.

  • Total conversations: includes count of all standup submissions

  • Streaks calculated for active users in active standups

  • Duplicate submissions does not affect streaks.

  • Streaks automatically adjust based on each standup’s schedule (daily/weekly, etc.) Streaks are calculated for each Standup.

  • Streak is calculated based on the standup scheduled days. A standup scheduled for 2 days pers week will be maintained if a submission is received each day.

Streaks In Slack, see your streaks after you submit your standup.

+1 For a switch to disable this.

I agree with other posters-- is the only way to disable this to switch to something else? Never needed or asked for this feature, but went along with it. Took a day off yesterday, logged as "Vacation" in standup, and my streak is gone. I don't need tools that risk demotivating my team.

Seconding the other comment. I have no use for or interest in this--how do I turn it off?

Is there a setting to disable this feature? It doesn't currently seem to appear in Profiles.
